Mary has had two lines of treatment stop working, and she is preparing in advance for a third relapse. She has done extensive research and talked with other members of the myeloma community to understand what to expect from another relapse and to learn what questions to ask her specialists. Mary has also begun having discussions with her specialists about what her next steps are, and what, if anything, she can do to keep herself healthy for as long as possible.
I am trying my best to stay hopeful and do all that I can to make sure I am prepared for my next relapse. I am encouraged by the science and am doing my best to keep myself in a position to participate in clinical trials as they come available.”
